The Worship Committee works with the pastors to plan the worship services and music of the congregation and also coordinates with the Altar Guild and Seasonal Decorations committee.

 

The Stewardship Committee is chaired by the congregational treasurer.   They will study the subject of Christian stewardship and finance, and will seek to cultivate the spirit and actual practice there within the congregation.   For each new year, it shall prepare the annual budget for presentation the the Council and the congregation.

 

The Outreach Committee shall be responsible for the greeting of members as well as visitors, strive to reclaim nonactive members, contact and introduce prospective members and new-comers to the community, care for any special cases of illness or need in the congregation, serve as liaison with the Stephen Ministry program, and advise with the pastor(s) thereof.

 

The Parish Education Committee supervises all organizations and agencies of Christian education in the congregation, works with the pastor(s) in planning and using a catechetical program leading to the Rite of Confirmation, selects and appoints the superintendent(s) and working staffs of the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, and provides a program of Adult Christian Education.

 

The Youth Committee will plan and coordinate social events and programs for the various age-groups of youth in the congregation from elementary schoool through college.

 

The Child Development Center/School Board will oversee the operation of the St. Paul Child Development Center and School and work closely with the directors in administering all policies and procedures.

 

The Fellowship Committee will provide events and opportunities for fellowship for the congregation and for groups within the congregation.

 

The Senior Ministry Committee will provide for a program of care, visitation, recreation, and fellowship for the senior members of the church and community.

 

The Community Service Commitee oversees the food pantry, provides ministry to the poor and needy in the community, and serve as a liason with the various community service programs and organizations.

 

The Property Committee is responsible for the maintenance, repair of, and upkeep of all church buildings.

 

Ella Kuhl at 101 years young is the oldest member of our congregation.
